This exemption promotes energy conservation. Subject to an ordinance of city councils or the Hardin County Board of Supervisors. Exemption applies to the net acquisition cost of the wind energy conservation property. 100% the first year, to 70% the last year, over 20 years. Application must be filed with the Assessor by February 1st.
