Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management (IRVM) employs a variety of management tools and sound ecological principles to establish and maintain healthy roadsides. The IRVM tool chest includes:

Seeding native species
Preventing disturbances to existing vegetation
Conducting prescribed burns
Spot mowing
Judicious application of herbicide

Hydroseeding

The Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management (IRVM) Dept is hard at work hydroseeding with the help of Interns Lillian Kies and Sam Romig.
