Tax Payments

1. The first installment is due by September 30th
2. The second installment is due by March 31st of the following year

Interest Accrual

Interest begins to accrue the first business day after the installment due date.

Weekend Due Date Notice

If the due date falls on a weekend, the deadline will extend to the next business day.

Making Payments

There are several ways to make property tax payments:

Online:

• In addition to cash or checks, credit and debit cards are accepted (fees apply to cards)* To pay in person, come to:

•  Drop box: 
• Payment by drop box after hours can be made at the Hardin County Courthouse. The drop box is permanently located at the sidewalk of the east side entrance of the courthouse.
• When paying by mail or drop box, always use a check.

Please choose a manner and method of payment that will be convenient for you and will give you the best assurance that your payment will be timely. If you choose to mail your payment, make sure that you have the proper U.S. Postal Service postmark.
