The Hardin County Recorder's office provides direct service to the county's citizens and also serves as a repository for many public records. Some of these pertain to land transactions, including documenting title to property. We also provide registration and titling services for those who own recreational vehicles such as boats, snowmobiles, and ATVs. Finally, we issue marriage licenses and house the county's birth, death, and marriage records, and provide certified copies of these documents.
Such widely varied responsibilities make the Recorder's office an important site for services and document archives. We are here to provide excellent service to our customers and visitors. I am proud that we have worked hard each day to bring you efficient service.
