E911 Service Board

The 911 Emergency Communication System in Hardin County was established to provide a faster and more efficient response to emergency situations by establishing and providing for the operation and maintenance of a 911 emergency telephone communication system.

The E911 Service Board covers the governance, authority, fiscal responsibility, organization, and programs of the 911 Emergency Communication System.

Meetings

The E911 Service Board meets monthly, normally on the third Tuesday of the month. Meetings are held at:

Membership

Membership on the E911 Service Board is designated in Iowa Code: the county sheriff, a representative of the Board of Supervisors, and a representative from each municipality in the county should all be part of the E911 Service Board.
