The Hardin County Secondary Roads Department is currently taking applications for a part-time roadside mower. This position is seasonal, spanning approximately May to October. Applicants must be able to operate powered equipment such as a tractor-mower. Work will include mowing in the county rights-of-way, pruning and brush cutting, and various general duties as assigned.
A valid Iowa driver’s license and a good driving record are required. A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License is preferred. The selected applicant will be subject to a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
Pay is $20.00 per hour.
