Position: Regular Part-time
communications specialist

Communications currently has 1
regular part-time position open for E911 communications specialist. Job entails
but not limited to dispatching fire, EMS, and law enforcement in Hardin County,
along with any other day to day duties in the communications center. This
position will require working nights, weekends, and holidays. Regular part-time
hours after training will be a minimum of 56 hours per pay period. Applicants
must attend and pass the National Dispatcher Selection Test.
Part-time employees receive
IPERS benefits for retirement.
Minimum Requirements
· High
school diploma or GED
· 18
years or age or older at time of application
· Valid
driver's license
· Pass
a background investigation
· Proficient
Typing skills
Required
training will be provided. Hardin County is seeking energetic people with a
good work ethic and moral character.
