Hardin County Conservation is receiving sealed bids for hayed grounds. 

The two areas open for bidding are:

Anders Wildlife Area located 5 miles southeast of Iowa Falls, has 14.5 acres of hayed ground.

Arthur Hilker Wildlife Area located south of Hubbard on the county line, has 15 acres of hayed ground. 

• The hay must be removed from the site within a week of baling unless other arrangements are made. 
• Mowing will be allowed July 15th through October 1^st. 
• One cutting is recommended, and a second cutting is to be determined. 
• Hardin County assumes no liability and has the right to refuse any and all bids. 
• Payment is due before the hay is cut. No chemicals are to be applied.

Submit a separate bid for each area of interest. Send sealed bids to Hardin County Conservation at 15537 S Ave. Ackley, IA 50601 with Attn: Hay Bid on the envelope. The deadline for bids is Monday, June 12^th, 2023, at 4 pm.
