Hardin County allows the application of dust control in front of rural residences during the summer months. Dust control material can be placed at the owner’s expense under one of two conditions:
- Dust control material can be applied by a contractor
- Residents may apply dust control material themselves following the conditions of the Dust Control Permit.
A Dust Control Permit application must be filled out and turned in to the County Engineer’s Office prior to doing the work. You may download the application PDF or apply online
