Boards and commissions are responsible for directing certain departments and for advising the Board of Supervisors, elected officials, and county staff. Hardin County is looking for qualified applicants who are strong believers in becoming an active participant and voice in local government.

If you find a position you are interested in, sign up and fill out an online application for consideration by the Board of Supervisors. State law requires most boards and commissions be balanced according to gender and political affiliation. Geographical location and diversity is also considered.
