A full-time, employee is responsible for natural resource management, including prescribed burning, seeding, spraying, and timber management. Under the direct supervision of the Conservation Director, this employee is responsible for all aspects of the natural resource management of Hardin County Conservation’s land and resources. The candidate will perform all related duties as required by the Hardin County Conservation Board. The position is a non-exempt status position.



Requirements

Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s Degree from an accredited university in wildlife biology, biology,  natural resources or park management and experience in using prescribed burning for resource management. Must possess a Valid Iowa Pesticide Applicators License, NWCG Certifications S130/190 S131 &S290, and A valid Iowa Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake endorsement.
